Our Process
The time required for us to prepare, shoot, and produce your film will vary depending on the complexity of the central character's story and the available resources.
I. RESEARCH
(several weeks to several months)

Gather as much information as possible about the central figure, including the their background, achievements, challenges, and any relevant archival material.
Identify relevant people who have been influenced by the individual.

Organize the research and thoughts into an outline, which serves as a roadmap for the short film.
II. PRE-PRODUCTION
(2-4 weeks)

Secure permissions and access to any relevant individuals or organizations. Ensure we have the necessary permissions to film in specific locations.

Determine shooting locations, schedules, and any required equipment.

Develop a list of interview questions and topics that will help elicit meaningful responses from the central figure and other key individuals, if applicable.

Recruit any necessary additional crew members
III. PRODUCTION
(Dependant on availability of the relevant individuals, can be as short as a few days)

Create sets on location with camera, lighting, sound, and framing.

Arrange interviews with the central character and other key individuals who can provide additional insights.

Capture supplementary (B-roll) footage: central character's daily life and frequented locations, or archival materials.
IV. POST-PRODUCTION
(A few weeks to a few months depending on the complexity of the film)

Transcribe the interviews and organize the material based on the outline and narrative structure.

Piece together the footage, interviews, and archival materials into a coherent and engaging narrative arc.

Add background music, sound effects and fine-tune post production audio.

Adjust the color and overall look of the footage to create a consistent visual style throughout the film.
Participation in a series of video interviews which includes the central character and relevant individuals
Participation in filming at various appropriate locations
Provide as much information as possible about the central character, including their background, achievements, challenges, and any relevant archival material and photographs.
