Hi, I’m Hoyee, the owner of Legacy Archivist. My journey into storytelling began through wedding filmmaking, where I had the unique opportunity to quietly observe people from behind the camera. Over the years, I started to notice something profound: while weddings are often about celebrating a single day, the grandparents at these events told a different story. Sitting quietly on the sidelines, their eyes seemed to hold a lifetime of memories—stories waiting to be told but often left unspoken.

Those moments stayed with me and became the inspiration behind Legacy Archivist. I’m driven by a deep respect for the wisdom and experiences that come from a life well-lived and a sense of urgency to preserve them before they fade. Through my work, I strive to capture the essence of those who have traversed decades, weaving their perspectives into cinematic portraits that can be cherished for generations.
